Content creator
Open a paying club for your most loyal followers
A membership club on your own site, not a page among others.

Who it is for
Your community is loyal and your income rides on advertising.
What it settles
- A site at your address, not a page on a platform
- Two tiers, and videos sold singly
- Members who hold an account with the creator
Products used
To open a membership club as a content creator, Videas gives you a channel at your own address and in your own colours: you set video by video what is open, members-only or subscriber-only, with several tiers, single video sales and files under the videos. Your members hold an account with you, not on a shared platform.
“L’Atelier de Noé” is the channel of Noé Garnier, a self-taught woodworker invented for this walkthrough. Six years of tutorials, a loyal community, and Léna Fabre editing and running it half-time.
A content creator living on advertising
Income rises and falls with the month’s audience. A good video pays well, a quiet stretch pays nothing, and none of it depends on the most loyal viewers, who are precisely the ones who keep coming back.
And those loyal viewers have nowhere to go further: no behind-the-scenes, no plans, no way to support beyond watching.
Past YouTube monetization, a club of your own
The channel is at Noé’s address, in his colours, with his social links in the header. That is the whole difference from a page hosted on a shared platform: the address he gives out is his, and his members hold an account with him.
Every video carries its access level: open for the tutorials that draw people in, subscriber-only for early access and the behind-the-scenes. An early-access video opens to everyone when Noé decides, by hand. And the full projects carry their measured plan as a PDF, visible only to the people with access.
Two tiers, monthly or yearly, for two degrees of commitment. Alongside them, a long tutorial sells on its own, for somebody who wants that project without subscribing, and who can add a support contribution to it.
YouTube to be found, the club to go further
None of this requires leaving YouTube, and it would be a mistake to: that is where Noé is discovered, and his links there lead back to his site. Members do not transfer between platforms, each one creates an account here, and that is exactly what makes this audience his.
The community lives under the videos, in the comments, where his replies carry his name. The monthly newsletter leaves the channel for the members, and another one for the free sign-ups. Behind the scenes, the member list exports and the dashboard says what memberships, purchases and contributions each weigh.
The same mechanism serves an outlet selling its documentaries and a yoga studio.
How it works, step by step
The creator's site
His address, his colours, his social links in the header. The early-access video up top, the tiers below, and the free tutorials that make people want to come in.
The tiers
Two levels, each monthly or yearly. The first opens early access and the behind-the-scenes, the second adds the measured plans: you pick how committed you are.
Early access
The week's video, a week before everyone else. Locked for the visitor, but visible: this is what turns a loyal viewer into a paying member.
Inside the club
The episode, the measured plan as a PDF under the video, and the comments where Noé answers under his own name. This is where the community lives, not in a separate feed.
The single-purchase tutorial
For somebody who wants that project and nothing else. On buying, they can add a support contribution if they want to.
What each tier opens
Behind the scenes, Noé decides video by video what is open, members-only or subscriber-only. An early-access video opens to everyone with one setting, when he says so.
The members
Who signed up, who supports, on which tier, since when. The list belongs to the creator and exports: that is the most concrete difference from a page on a platform.
The newsletter
Sent from the channel to the audience of your choice, here the top tier. Another one goes to the free members, to make them want in.
The revenue
What memberships, single purchases and support contributions each weigh, and how many members are active. Club income is read by the month, not by the view.
Audiences already turned into income
L'Atelier de Noé is invented; these three are not: a dance channel, an independent outlet and a wellbeing brand living off their communities.

What our customers say about us
Frequently asked questions
What is the alternative to Patreon or Tipeee if you want your own site?
A Videas channel is a site of yours: your domain name, your colours, your home page, your sections and your members. On Patreon or Tipeee you have a page on somebody else's platform; here the site is yours, and so is the address you give out.
How do you earn from an audience beyond advertising?
By opening a paying club to the people who already follow you: early access, behind the scenes, files to download. Free platforms pay you for the month's audience; a club pays you for loyalty, which is a far steadier base.
Can you offer several membership tiers?
Yes, each with its price, its duration and what it opens: a selection of videos, or the whole catalogue. The same video can be open to every tier. In this walkthrough the first tier gives early access and behind the scenes, the second adds the plans.
Can you sell one video without a subscription?
Yes, outright or as a rental, for people who do not want to commit. At that point the buyer can add a support contribution of whatever amount they choose. It is added to a purchase, not to a subscription, and does not exist on its own: this is not a tip jar.
How do you give members early access to a video?
By reserving the video to subscribers, then opening it to everyone when you decide. The switch is manual: nothing flips by itself on a date. A video can also be announced in advance, with its artwork and its date, before it publishes.
Can you put downloadable files under a video?
Yes: plans, patterns, material lists as PDFs. They only show to people with access to that video. Downloading the video itself is set video by video, not by tier.
Can the community talk on the site?
In the comments, under each video, with moderation if you want it, and your replies carry your name and the admin badge. There is no activity feed, no polls and no member-to-member messaging: the community lives under the videos.
Can you gift a membership or run a launch promotion?
Yes: promo codes by percentage or amount, with their duration and their number of uses, and memberships you give to your moderators or partners, with or without an end date. A fan cannot gift a membership to somebody else.
What does the creator see of members and revenue?
The member list with their tier, counters and a CSV export. And a sales dashboard: revenue, the share from memberships and from single purchases, active members, the most-chosen tiers, the latest sales, with a monthly statement.
Do you have to leave YouTube to open a club?
No. YouTube stays the place where people find you, and your links there lead to your site. The club is where they support you and go further. Members do not transfer between platforms: each one creates an account with you.
