The same questions come back every week

An answer written yesterday goes out again today in another email, and the onboarding call replays identically for every new customer. Videas gathers those answers into a library of tutorials filed by topic, which your customers open themselves, at the moment the question comes up rather than at the next free slot.

What costs you time between the question and the answer.

  • The same answer, written out one more time?

In Videas it is recorded once, filed in a category and sent as a link. The next customer finds it without anyone writing it again.

  • An onboarding call identical to the last one?

The onboarding path lives in Videas as chaptered videos, open at any hour. The live meeting is kept for what is specific to that customer.

  • Nobody knows who opened the tutorial?

As soon as your Videas channel runs on individual accounts, every person has a playback history: what they played, when, and how far they got.

  • A quote that grows with the number of accounts?

Videas never bills per learner. You pay for storage, delivery and the channel: opening one more account does not move the invoice.

What an answer becomes once it is on video

A centralized content management interface

A catalog filed by topic, not by date

In Videas, your channel categories group tutorials by theme, with sub-categories of their own, and the header and footer menus lead there in one click. The Page Builder also drops a Search block on the home page: your customer types the question instead of asking it.

An advanced search bar with filters

Straight to the passage that answers

The Chapters tab in Videas splits a long tutorial, by hand or from the transcript. The viewer jumps to the right moment instead of scrubbing through.

User invitations and access group management

Opening access customer by customer

Every Videas item carries its level: Public, Authenticated, Restricted, On request or Paid. A group opens a batch of tutorials, with an end date of its own.

One user's playback history, item by item

Knowing who watched what, and how far

When your channel runs on individual accounts, Videas opens a Statistics tab for every person: their playback history session by session — content, date, duration, completion, device — their favorite content and their favorite categories. A public channel, or one closed behind a shared password, has no accounts, and therefore no per-person tracking.

What it changes, from the first tutorial on

Your tutorials go into Videas, sort themselves into categories and sit on a home page you compose without a developer.

Three customers already serving theirs on video

  • 24/7of tutorials open to their customers' technicians

The procedure before the call to support

Safran Nacelles files its maintenance tutorials by aircraft model and opens access only to the airlines whose service contract covers it. An entry form separates customers under contract, prospects and eligibility requests. The setup was built to reduce dependence on direct technical support.

  • By domainplayback is allowed only on their own sites

The videos live inside the tool, not beside it

AFNOR Editions inserts the videos of its interactive courses into its own modules with the Videas embed code, and restricts playback to its domains so that content that is sold and confidential cannot be played anywhere else.

  • Zerocookies and no advertising in front of their members

The video space sits with the customer, not with us

Bodytime delivers its members' training programs from its own website, in a player carrying its own branding, with no cookie and no advertising, and with no technical work left to its team.

What Videas does not do

Videas does not run exams: quizzes, certificates and locked progression are not delivered as standard — if your academy needs them, talk to us. And Videas does not answer for you: whatever no video covers still comes back to you.

What a fifty-tutorial academy costs

  • €0.20

per hour of video stored, every month

  • €0.02

per GB delivered, the first TB free every month

  • €10

per month for the channel, whatever the number of accounts

Videas bills neither the account nor the learner: you pay for what you store and for what your customers watch. Fifty hours of tutorials come to €10 of storage a month, plus €10 for the channel that presents them, drawn from a credit wallet you top up whenever you decide to. The first terabyte delivered each month is free, roughly two hundred hours of HD viewing. And subtitling a ten-minute tutorial into three languages costs €3.

Frequently asked questions

What is a customer academy?

A library of content a company opens to its own customers so that they can learn on their own how to use what they bought. In Videas it takes the shape of a channel: a catalog filed into categories, a home page you compose, and tutorials each person opens when their question comes up.

Do people need an account to watch the tutorials?

It depends on the access mode you pick in Settings, then Authentication. Videas offers four: Public, a shared Password, Users optional and Users required. The optional mode lets everyone browse freely and keeps the account for those who want one; the required mode closes the whole channel behind a login.

Can we see who watched what, and how far?

Yes, as soon as your channel runs on individual accounts. In Videas, open Users, then a person, then their Statistics tab: you read their playback history session by session (content, date, duration, completion, device). A public channel, or one closed behind a shared password, has no accounts and therefore no per-person tracking.

Does Videas bill per user?

No, and that is deliberate: no Videas rate depends on the number of accounts. You pay €0.20 per hour of video stored per month, €0.02 per gigabyte delivered beyond the free terabyte, and €10 a month for the channel. Inviting one more customer does not move the invoice.

Can the academy stay visible in search engines?

Yes, by staying on the Users optional mode: search engines see the catalog, and the account is asked for only on reserved content. Every page and every category of your Videas channel carries its own Meta title and Meta description fields. The Users required mode closes everything and cuts organic visibility.

How do we reserve some tutorials for some customers?

Every item carries an access level: Public, Authenticated, Restricted, On request or Paid. A Restricted item is then opened to users, to groups, or to a whole category at once. A Videas group can carry an expiry date: past that date its members lose access to the content shared through it.

Can the tutorials appear inside our own product?

Yes. The Embed button in Videas produces a snippet to paste into your page, as a script or an iframe, and the player shows up on your side without the visitor leaving your site or creating an account. The Restrict embedding domains setting, in your workspace settings, stops that snippet working elsewhere.

How do we find out where customers drop off?

The Heatmap tab of a video's statistics shows the engagement curve across its whole duration, with the engagement peak and the average completion rate. On recent content, second-by-second capture is not in place yet: the curve there is estimated from the completion rate, which Videas does measure for real.

Can the tutorials be published in several languages?

Yes. Scribe transcribes the video and generates the subtitles, then the Translate button in the editor adds a track in each language you pick, out of more than thirty. Count €0.10 per minute and per language generated: a ten-minute tutorial in three languages therefore comes to three euros.

Where are the videos hosted, and what do customers see?

The videos are hosted in France and the processing is GDPR-compliant. The Videas player sets no cookie and no advertising tracker, and shows neither ads nor recommended videos from elsewhere. Your customers see your logo and your colors, and an account deleted on request takes its whole history with it.
