New pricing: everything unlocked, and you only pay for what you use

Videas no longer has a subscription: you only pay for your usage — €0.20 per hour of video stored, €10/month per channel, the first 1 TB of streaming free. And selling, the API and your own domain, yesterday reserved for the Plus plan, are open to everyone.

Videas no longer has a subscription. You top up a credit wallet, and each service is debited as you use it: €0.20 per hour of video stored, per month, €0.02 per GB delivered — the first 1 TB free every month — and €10/month per channel. In practice, a creator with 30 hours of video, her branded channel and her own domain pays €26/month; a developer storing 100 hours and streaming 2 TB pays €40/month. Signing up hands you €5 in credits, renewed every month.

What changes comes down to two things: everything is unlocked for everyone, and there is no ceiling and no commitment left.

Until now you had to pick a plan before you had even uploaded your first video. Too small, and you hit a 3-hour ceiling; too big, and you paid €75/month for capacity you never reached. And the things that mattered most — selling your videos, plugging into the API, using your own domain — stayed locked behind the Plus plan. The four Free / Standard / Plus / Enterprise plans now give way to the credit wallet.

Everything unlocked, whatever your size

What used to require the Plus plan, at €50–75/month, is now within reach from your very first euro:

Before Now
Selling your videos Plus plan, €50–75/month included
API access Plus plan, €50–75/month included
Custom domain Plus plan, €50–75/month €10/month
Admin seats 1, 3 or 10 depending on the plan no longer counted
Users on your channel 5, 50 or 500 depending on the plan no longer counted
Storage ceiling 3, 50 or 200 hours none

Put another way: a creator starting out on her own now has everything that used to require a €50–75/month plan.

Selling is settled through a commission instead: 15%, all in — Stripe payment processing included, no setup fee. You collect straight into your own Stripe account.

Switching it on takes a single session: you connect your Stripe account — Stripe is the one verifying your identity — then top up your wallet to publish your channel and set your prices.

Commission and payouts

Your bill follows your hours, not a plan

What you pay depends on what you store, stream and publish. Here are three typical setups — the calculator on the pricing page works out yours, sliders and all:

€26/month — creator or coach. 30 hours of video, her branded channel, her domain, and she sells her content. Before: the Plus plan was mandatory both to sell and to connect her domain, at €50/month paid yearly (€75 monthly).

€38/month — trainer. 80 hours of courses, 50 GB of materials, his platform on his own domain, selling access. Before: the Plus plan again, €50–75/month.

€40/month — developer. 100 hours stored, 2 TB streamed every month, everything integrated through the API on her own site. Before: the API required the Plus plan.

And if you’re just starting out, you pay nothing at all: the €5 in credits we hand you every month cover around 25 hours of hosted video on their own — eight times the old Free plan’s ceiling, with no card required.

The rates in full: €0.20 per hour, €10 per channel

Service Rate
Video storage €0.20 per hour of video, per month
File storage €0.05 per GB, per month
Bandwidth €0.02 per GB delivered — first 1 TB free every month
Automatic subtitles €0.10 per minute of video, per language
Channel €10 per month, per channel
Custom domain €10 per month, per domain

Prices exclude VAT, and VAT is added when you top up rather than when you spend: once the credits are bought, what you spend is what is shown. 1 credit = 1 cent, and there are no setup fees, no tiers to cross and no minimum term.

Storage is counted to the hour: ten more hours this month means €2 more — never again a plan change just to get past a ceiling.

What’s free: €5 a month and the first 1 TB of streaming

  • €5 in credits at signup, to spend within 30 days.
  • €5 free every month, use-it-or-lose-it — they don’t stack.
  • The first 1 TB of streaming free every month, worth €20 in credits on its own: enough for roughly 200 hours of HD viewing.

The credits you buy never expire. And the larger the top-up, the more it returns: +5% from €25, +10% from €50, +15% from €100. Topping up €100 brings the stored hour down to €0.17 instead of €0.20.

Nothing is ever debited beyond your credits

Pay-as-you-go always raises the same worry: the video that takes off on a Sunday night. The prepaid wallet answers it by design — your balance is the ceiling, and there is no surprise invoice at the end of the month.

Videas warns you when your balance runs low, and you switch on automatic top-up if you’d rather not think about it, with its threshold, its amount and a daily cap.
