Share several files with a single link
To share several files at once: tick the media items you want in your media library, then click Share in the action bar that appears. Videas bundles them into a single link — the recipient finds them on one page and moves from one to the next, without creating an account.
Without an account too: the Send a large video tool takes several files in the same link — 2 GB each, seven days. Beyond that, it is the media-library selection described here.
The link is created automatically, with the same settings as for a standalone file (expiry, password, open limit, downloads). This article covers multiple selection, sharing a whole folder, and the difference with a collection.
Select and share several files
- In your workspace, hover then tick each media item to include (the checkbox appears on the thumbnail). You can mix types: videos, audio, images, documents.
- A bulk action bar appears at the top as soon as at least one file is selected
- Click Share
- The Share files window opens: the Files column, on the left, lists every selected media item, and the link is already generated
- Click Copy
Every ticked file is reachable from the same URL.
Note: the Share button only appears when you are inside a workspace. From a global view such as “All files”, it is hidden. Sharing is also available by right-clicking a thumbnail.
Share a whole folder
A folder is shared exactly like a file: open its menu (or tick it), then Share. Videas then warns “Shared folders will include all their content”.
Sharing is recursive: every subfolder and its files become reachable through the link. Handy for delivering an organized set, but check the folder’s content before sending the link out — a file forgotten in a subfolder would be shared too.
Set up the share
The options are identical to those of an individual share: link name and description, expiry (on by default at 7 days), password, open limit, downloads permission, Hide details and Hide date, and the Active toggle. Each setting is detailed in How to share a video with a link.
Note: the open limit is counted globally on the link, across all files. If you set 10 opens and a visitor views 3 files, that uses up 3 opens.
What the recipient sees
The recipient opens a single page bringing together every shared file: they click the one they want, and move from one to the next from the same page. Depending on the type, each file plays or opens straight in the browser (video, audio, image, PDF). No account is required.
Several files or a collection?
Two ways of sharing a set, with a similar result but a different logic:

If your list has to stay stable, a multiple selection is enough. If it has to evolve (a library that keeps growing, an updated series), create a collection and share that — see Share a collection by link.
Who can share
Creating a share link requires the Editor role on the workspace (the sharing permission); the Viewer role cannot share.
Multiple selection or collection: which one?
A multiple selection produces a grouping frozen at the moment you share: to change the list you have to edit the share or create a new one. A collection lives on — any addition or removal is reflected automatically in the link you already circulated.
So the question to ask is: does this list need to stay stable, or evolve? A client delivery is frozen; a resource library or an ongoing series is better as a collection.
Does sharing a folder share its subfolders?
Yes, sharing is recursive: every subfolder and its files become reachable through the link. Videas says so at share time — “Shared folders will include all their content”.
That is handy for delivering an organised set, and it is the main source of accidental leaks. Open the folder and walk through it before circulating the link: a forgotten rush in a subfolder or a misfiled working version would go out with the rest.
Is the open limit counted per file?
No, globally on the link, across all files. If you set ten openings and a visitor consults three files, that uses three openings from the quota.
So be generous on a share holding many items: a recipient going through a fifteen-file delivery quickly exhausts a quota sized for a single video.
Can I mix videos, PDFs and images in the same link?
Yes. Multiple selection accepts every media type uploaded to your workspace: videos, audio, images, documents. The recipient opens a single page, clicks the one they want and moves from one to the next.
Each file plays or opens straight in the browser according to its type, with no account to create. That is what lets you send a replay, its PDF deck and the event artwork in one link.
In short
